“Harvard Is a Joke, Teaches Hate and Stupidity” — Trump Blasts University, Threatens to Cut Federal Funding

U.S. President Donald Trump is at it again, slamming Harvard University as “a joke” and accusing it of promoting “hate and stupidity.”

These comments, posted on Truth Social, are part of his ongoing fight against what he sees as the woke agenda in American universities.

“Harvard is a JOKE, teaches Hate and Stupidity, and should no longer receive Federal Funds,” Trump said, claiming the school no longer belongs on the list of top universities.

Trump’s Warning: Cut Funding or Face Consequences

Trump isn’t just talking. On 15th April, he warned that Harvard could lose $2.2 billion in federal funding and even its nonprofit tax-exempt status if the school doesn’t do what he wants. He also wants a full government audit of how the university handles admissions and hiring. Harvard has already said it won’t go along with that.

Harvard Fires Back: ‘We Won’t Back Down’

Alan Garber, Harvard’s president, wasted no time responding. “We won’t negotiate over our independence or our constitutional rights,” he said, making it clear that the school won’t give in to Trump’s demands.

Trump’s Ongoing Fight With ‘Woke’ Schools

This whole Harvard situation isn’t new for Trump — he’s been railing against what he calls “wokeness” in schools for a while now. He’s not a fan of diversity programs, affirmative action, or anything he sees as pushing race-based policies. In his view, those kinds of things divide students more than they help.

The U.S. president also says anti-Semitism is on the rise at many universities, especially with all the pro-Palestinian protests happening lately. That, he claims, is one of the big reasons he’s going after schools like Harvard.
